Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe : Ceramic Mosaic Mexico’s most popular religious and cultural icon, Our Lady of Guadalupe, which will be opened today in Taipei as part of celebrations to commemorate the appearance of the Virgin Mary said to the peasants nearly five centuries ago, according to Taipei-based business services and the Mexican Cultural Office documents.

“The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe was donated by the Ibero-American community in Taiwan to observe the event the Catholic,” the office said.

Pope Pius XII declared the Virgin of Guadalupe “Queen of Mexico and Empress of the Americas” in 1945, and a “sponsor of the Americas” in 1946. Pope John XXIII invoked as “Mother of the Americas” in 1961, referring to her mother and teacher of religion for all the American population.
