
KARACHI: Oil Tankers Contractor Association has called of strike following meeting with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, Geo News reported.
Sindh Governor, in the meeting held at Governor House, assured the association representatives for resolving their issues. Following the assurance, Oil Tankers Contractor Association called off strike.
President Oil Tankers Contractor Association Umedullah Afridi assured Governor Sindh that supply would resume across the country from Thursday morning.
Earlier on Tuesday, All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association (APOTA) had announced to observe strike for an indefinite period in protest against recent increase in petroleum product prices.
