Speaking to the media in Quetta, Munter said that terrorists were targeting Pakistani and American people and were attacking convoys and religious gatherings in various cities.
He said that he had great respect and high regard for the Pakistani army and policemen because they played a crucial role in the war against terror.
The ambassador said that 100,000 troops of the Pakistan army were deployed in the tribal areas and the war against terrorism was being fought to ensure peace in the future.
