TRIPOLI: Moamer Kadhafi said he will not quit power and called on negotiations with the United States and France to end the Libyan conflict, in a speech aired on television early Saturday.
In an address on a private Tv channel, Kadhafi said that Nato should give up all hopes of his quitting the office. He said that he would neither give up any of his official work nor would leave his country. He would fight till last, Kadhafi declared.
Moamer Kadhafi said that Nato targeted the telecommunication tower even when he was addressing on the channel, which fell in front of the Libyan General Assembly and High Commission for Children.
In his 80 minutes address, Kadhafi said that Nato air and naval patrolling were in violations of the UN mandate. Russia, China, friendly African and Latin American countries should ask the United Nations Security Council to mull over the resolution. He said that air strikes were hurting the people and administrative structure.
