Japanese power Co. apologize on spread of radiation effects TOKYO: Today is the last day for discharging radioactive water into the sea from the Japanese Fukushima power plant, Geo News reported.

The power company has apologized on the spread of radiation effects, which has sent the neighboring countries worrying over the hazards. Several countries have slapped ban on buying goods and eateries from Japan, which has drawn sharp criticism on the nuclear crisis faced by the Japanese prime minister. The cooling down process of the overheated power plant by sprinkling water is underway.

While today is the last day for draining out radioactive water from the plant into the sea, according to plan.
