LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif Friday described deploring and religious statements as being meaningless to end US drone attacks, adding that the issue can only be resolved through joint efforts of the government and people of Pakistan, Geo News reported.
Indicating towards backdoor agreements, CM Punjab said the government should reveal to nation those deals, which allow US administration to carry out drone attacks in Pakistan.
He was addressing a PML-N’s activists gathering here in Model Town. “US predator strikes have turned a mess for Pakistan whose solution lies in addressing this issue with national honour and pride.”
“N-league activists should force the government towards a result-oriented action against this US brutality,” he advised.
