8 dead bodies found in Attock

Attock police have found eight dead bodies from a deserted area.

According to the police, the bodies were found behind a desolated petrol pump on Hajji Shah Road and suffocation was appeared to be the cause of their death.
The police said that six out of eight men were ascertained to be aged between 30 and 35 while two 16 to 18 year old boys were also among the dead.

Attock District Police Officer Akhtar Abbas told the media that the men were killed three to four days ago before being thrown there.

He said that the deceased were not locals, they had beard and appeared to be Afghans. He said that loud speaker announcements were made for their identification but no one recognised them.



The police have shifted the bodies to city morgue for autopsy.
