Russian club fire toll rises to 113

The death toll from a Russian nightclub fire rose to 113 on Monday as a young woman died from severe burns.

Death came as friends and relatives began burying their loved ones on a cold day in the city of Perm in the Urals.

The death toll from Saturday's fire before dawn could go even higher. The Russian Health Minister said that at least 68 of the 130 injured were in respirators.

Over 200 people were inside the disco lame horse when sparks from fireworks set fire to a plastic-covered roof and tree limbs.

Many victims were killed or wounded in the battle to reach the only exit from the club.

Four people, including club owner, had been arrested.

Authorities said club managers ignored repeated requests from authorities to change the interior to meet fire safety standards.
