He said that the equitable distribution of resources with a particular focus on the development of backward areas would help to restore the confidence of the people from the provinces who felt the deprivation and marginalization.
The president was speaking to a group of tribal elders from Baluchistan called for here at the Aiwan-Sadr today.
The group is composed of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch of Balochistan National Movement enhance mutual cooperation), Vice-Mohammad Ayaz Khan Jogezai of Pakhtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party PKMAP), Senator Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhel (PKMAP) and former Senator Akram Shah ((PKMAP).
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Babar Awan was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting issues related to empowerment of Balochistan package, NFC Award, and development of the province and law and order and political situation were discussed.
Elders and congratulated the president to take concrete steps to resolve the issues of Balochistan Balochistan empowerment through the show, and an amnesty for political leaders and 7th National Finance Commission (FC) Award.
They said that as the democratically elected leader, President, and will continue to support President Zardari and democratic government.
They said they would not tolerate any conspiracy against the president and the democratic system and resist any attempt by anyone to destabilize the system.
The president also said the salient features of Baluchistan empowerment package and said that doors for negotiations for reconciliation in the region was open to all within the Union.
